Komorebi is the moniker of Tarana Marwah, a New Delhi (India) based electronic artist, whose lush soundscapes are described as “hypnotic”, “haunting” and otherworldly”. With her original voice, she has dominated the music festival space as one of the few female electronic producers of India with her sights set globally.

Komorebi was announced as Spotify’s 2023 RADAR Artist and was the face of their Indian as well as Global 2023 RADAR campaigns. She was also selected as an Apple UP NEXT Artist for her album
“The Fall”, which recently won the Indian Music Diaries ‘Album of the Year’. Before this she was also nominated for MTV Europe Music Award for “Best Artist of the Year”.

Her album “The Fall” was a unique multimedia release, making her the first Indian Indie artist to have a music video shot using Virtual Production using Unreal Engine for her song “I Grew Up”, and
yet again one of the first artists to author a comic book with tied in with the album.

Komorebi has toured extensively in India and performed at global music festivals such as Focus Wales 2023 (UK), SXSW 2022 & 2019 (US), Treefort (US), NH7 Weekender, Royal Enfield Motoverse, Magnetic Fields, Echoes of Earth, VH1 Supersonic, Red Bull Tour Bus, and Ziro Festival of Music. Komorebi has opened for international acts like Khruangbin, HVOB and Westlife and has recently also played the main stage at Lollapalooza 2024 in Mumbai, opening for stalwarts like Anoushka Shankar, Keane and Sting.

Komorebi has also written original film scores within the OTT realm, having done mammoth projects like “Made in Heaven”, “Bombay Begums”, “Modern Love”, and also for the Berlinale 2023 nominated,
“Dahaad”. She has also written the original songs “Nindiya” for Vice India’s show “Rainbow Rishta” and “Ye Sama” for the show “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, both released on Amazon Prime Video.

Komorebi has most recently worked as the main Artist and Producer on the song “BAYO” from CokeStudio Bharat Season 2, which released in August 2024.
